Yahoo News reports “Rock song for Aussie miners who survived rock fall”. Todd Russell and Brant Webb, made famous for killing Richard Carleton while hiding nearly a kilometer below the surface in a collapsed mine have confirmed the fears of all Australian's and are set to release a song. Joined by their wives and an Australian rock band, Unitopia, they will be releasing a song called “321 hours”. The name of the song signifies the amount of time the two were in their underground hideaway before being caught.
For fourteen days we were pinned to the edge of our seats waiting, wishing, even praying for the rescue of Todd and Brant. We were told it was a mine collapse and they, along with other co-conspirator Larry Knight, were trapped nearly a kilometre underground. Unfortunately for Larry his life of crime ended there and he died at the scene.
